A new Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 patch has been deployed, and it's yet another hefty content update for the chaotic action shooter.

This so-called 'Trygon' update adds a new co-op mission (standard practice for Space Marine 2 at this point), a new secondary weapon in the Inferno Pistol, and fully customisable player-versus-player lobbies. That last addition has been a much-requested feature for a while, letting you set up your own private 12-player matches.

Great stuff — but there's more. As per the official site, Patch 7.0 rebalances a bunch of stuff, brings Prestige Ranks to PvE, unlocks new weapons for different character classes, and fixes a pretty big list of known bugs. You can check the full patch notes through the link.

Are you still playing Space Marine 2? Might you be diving back into the action with this update? Don't let those tyranids surround you in the comments section below.
